◆ Historical Background
During the 1970s, Seiko was leading the global Quartz Revolution while still producing highly innovative mechanical watches.
The Seiko 5 Actus series became popular for blending practicality with futuristic industrial styling.
◆ Vintage Character
The dial aging, softened crystal, and visible wear developed over decades create a strong vintage atmosphere unique to watches from this period.
◆ Case & Bracelet
The heavy stainless steel case and complex multi-link bracelet design give the watch a distinctly industrial and retro-futuristic Japanese aesthetic.
The watch is currently running with its automatic self-winding movement. When the watch is shaken or worn, the second hand moves consistently, and the other functions appear to operate normally.
However, please note that long-term accuracy, daily time loss/gain, and extended performance over several hours have not been fully tested.
At the moment, the watch appears to be running normally when wound through movement.
