Bad bits
Sometimes makes a knock/clonk when you pull away. Not sure what it is.
Reverse light doesn’t work but have managed to diagnose it and it’s the gearbox reverse switch.
Front end doesn’t sit right for some reason. Have provided photos where you can see the gaps by the headlights. It hasn’t been in an accident but I’ve given up trying to work it out. The headlight washer covers are also missing and the grill clips are broken so it pulls off easy when you open the bonnet.
Needs a good detail in and out but does clean up well.
It drives really well and sounds brilliant. No horrible pops and bangs, just a nice burble as you lift off.
Reason for sale is I’ve finally had enough of having only 3 doors and want something a bit more practical. I’ve also fallen out of love with it after how much money I’ve spent on it in the last year or so.
I’ve serviced it every year and do less than 2000 a year as I don’t use it to get to work. Never blasted until up to temperature. Always let it idle before switching off as well.
It’s not without faults, which have been listed and have been fairly reflected in the price. It’s 20 years old, so bear that in mind too.
Buy it now price is the price. No committing to an agreed price and then coming to view and decide you want to try and knock it down. You are welcome to come and view the car beforehand and we can look over everything you want to. Test drives done by me. I live 5 minutes away from a 70 road.
I’ve also got some spare parts lying around which will go with the car.

Only px or swap I’ll take is for a pre facelift saloon MG ZS 180 in blue. Seen a couple I like and that’s what I’ll be getting once this has sold. Would consider a 120 but with money my way.
