TOHO Demi Round is a thinner version of the traditional round seed bead with the same hole size and diameter. The Demi Round works flawlessly with traditional seed beads and is versatile in popular stitches.

TOHO is the finest manufacture of glass beads in Japan and has been around since 1957. TOHO means 'Eastern Treasure' in English. Japanese beads are known for being uniform in size and in shape. 

The beauty of Japanese-made seedbeads is the variety of colours and the outstanding quality. Because they are so consistent in size and shape, they look fabulous in loom work, brick stitch, peyote and bead embroidery.  

The holes are also fairly large - which also is an advantage in projects and techniques that call for mulitple passes through the beads.
