The Leica Elmar 65mm f/3.5 is a short telephoto macro lens originally developed by Leitz Canada for the Leica Visoflex system and adaptable to Leica M cameras via the appropriate Visoflex accessories. It features an optical construction of 3 elements in 3 groups, based on the classic Elmar design, optimized for high-resolution close-up and reproduction work. The lens provides a 65mm focal length with a maximum aperture of f/3.5 and a diaphragm stopping down to f/22, allowing precise control over depth of field.
