The fabric is quilt shop quality called Kansas Troubles for Moda. The quilt features a hexagon applique over the blocks for added dimension, a characteristic of some KT patterns. Use some KT from your stash to add a border and easily make it a twin quilt.

Please note, the quilt top comes from the home of a smoker. The quilt can be washed after it's quilted to remove the smoke smell. If you have an average nose, you will likely detect no (or a very faint) lingering smoky scent.
