The "88" proved to be an excellent anti-tank gun in France in 1940. By the time it had arrived in North Africa it was a feared tank killer, which could knock out an Allied tank at distances of well over 1,000 metres.
The Sd.Kfz.7 half track tractor unit could carry gun crews of up to 12 in theatre-type seats.
This model has been recreated using the mould tools made in 1967 with the original pack illustration by
Roy Cross, 1967.
