Handmade Patchwork Quilt or Throw

This pretty quilt has a collection of 18 prints with flowers, fruit, vegetables and leaves, a check and a stripe, giving it a fresh, summer feel. The coloured patches are arranged in a design called ‘puzzle box’ and they are contrasted with white on white prints and plain white.The prints are  mostly in blues, yellows, greens  The back of the quilt is in plain white and the binding is made up from a combination of the colour prints and white. the quilting stitch lines are diagonal.

The quilt measures 48 inches wide by 71 inches long (122 x 181 cm), and is just right for a single bed, or as a throw on a sofa. It would make a lovely New Home or Birthday gift. All the fabrics used for the patchwork and the back are new 100% cotton, and the wadding is polyester. The quilt can be machine washed at 30 degrees and tumble dried on a gentle setting.

I make every one of my quilts individually using carefully selected and hand cut fabrics. I never make two identical so you can be certain that you will have a beautifully hand crafted and unique item. No one else will ever have one the same.
