Up for auction is an original and very rare Accessocraft NYC Brooch depicting an eagle and a date plate showing 7/20/69 which the the date of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
The back of the brooch is signed. The brooch measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 5/8 inches tall.
July 20, 1969, is the historic date of the first human landing on the Moon by NASA's Apollo 11 mission. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the Lunar Module Eagle in the Sea of Tranquility at 4:18 p.m. EDT, with Armstrong taking the first step on the surface at 10:56 p.m. EDT
