How to identify a failing AC capacitor?

Sign1: The air conditioner will not blow any cold air. When the air conditioner is turned on, the compressor will make a humming sound. The capacitor may also make a clicking sound.

Sign2: Energy bill goes up for AC system need more energy to power air conditioner.

Sign3: Flat top to dome, a rumbling sound or oily oozing out of the top.

Installation Steps

Step1: Unplug or turn off the power to the AC power supply.

Step 2: Remove the access panel from air conditioner and then remove the old capacitor to replace it with ours capacitor and connect the wires to the two terminals of the capacitor.

Step 3: Turn the power on and test to check.

Warm Reminder: We recommend that you replace the capacitor with the same MFD as the older one.
