In 2001 Fender was forced to rebrand Stage Master to Show Master because of trademark issues (ironic I know). I mention this only because if you look up serial online, Fender calls it Showmaster, while headstock clearly says Stagemaster. 

Ok so nice guitar, definitely has a few cosmetic issues. First, someone sanded down the back of the neck and part of the body. There also looks to be some stress cracks on both sides of body by neck pocket. Not sure if this is must paint, or if something more. I think it just paint. There is the #15 in black magic marker on back of neck. Color is a dark green, not black. 

Plays ok, neck is fine and action is reasonable. Needs a setup and probably a fret polish. A new pack of strings will be included. Electronics have very minor noise when turning knobs, but nothing major. 

Good project guitar or for parts.
