In my family collection: acquired in 1970 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. My father was stationed there from 1968 to 1971 and he acquired this from an antiques dealer who dealt directly to Western embassies and agencies. We brought it back to the United States in 1971 and it has been in my family since then.
