The camera in general works fine!!! Can also be used for parts or as a backup HOWEVER, there is one issue: SOMETIMES THE CAMERA SHUTS OFF AS THE BATTERY SEEMS TO LOSE CONTACT INSIDE W THE POWER PORTS!!! 

You can turn it back on but tilting the camera up and pressing your finger against the battery door. You can also shut it off and then power back on. It can be a bit a nuisance but doesnt stop you from creating!!!! This is a good camera for being crop senor mid tier from Canon USA. 

The camera body is a bit worn out from heavy use of the camera from the past six years. Im a photographer who recently upgraded to the Canon 5DIII. The 80D is ideal for new photographers immediate and advanced!!!
