Vintage 1950s "Space Navigator" Toy Wrist Compass & Tin Badge Set - Made in Japan

Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of Space Age history! This vintage 1950s "Space Navigator" novelty set was manufactured in Japan during the early days of the space race. The set is completely original and remains attached to its beautifully illustrated cardboard display backing.

Features & Condition:

• Includes: (1) Tinplate "Space Navigator" winged rocket badge and (1) toy wrist compass with a green textured strap.
  
• Card: Features vibrant retro sci-fi graphics of a spaceship, Saturn-like planet, and stars. The card shows minor age-related edge wear but is completely intact with no major rips or cutouts. 
  
• Components: Components are in excellent vintage shape. The tin badge has bright silver detailing. The compass dial is clear (please note: sold as a collectible novelty item, full directional functionality is untested).
  
• Markings: Clearly marked "Space Navigator", "WSNY" emblem, and "Japan" on the front of the display card.
  

• Condition: 100% original New Old Stock (NOS) on card. The compass needle spins freely and functions as intended! The reverse side of the card is unprinted, showing typical vintage toning, a minor surface scuff in the center from a removed price sticker, and light corner creases. The card remains flat, stiff, and holds the toys securely.
