Used OEM complete engine. It will fit 1983 ALT50. It should fit 1984 ALT50 but check to make sure. The engine is in good condition. It has scuffs, scratches, light corrosion and rust, and it could use a little cleaning (see photos). The crankcase doesn't have any repairs or damage. The engine has spark and fire but I could never get it to start. I'm not sure of the problem being low compression, the carburetor, etc. I can send more photos upon request.
