The teapot body features hand-incised calligraphy reading "静菊" (Jìng Jú), translating to "Quiet/Tranquil Chrysanthemum", mirroring the exquisite floral appliqué. The bottom of the teapot features an intricate circular maker's seal mark, with secondary matching maker marks stamped under the lid and on the handles.
