Here we have a unsigned Hopi Tasap or Navajo Kachina. It is in very good used condition. It is without any kind of damage or repairs. It measures approximately 11 inches tall, that is to top of the head not the feathers. Please look at all the pictures they are a very important part of the description. I believe the maker of this doll was Skip Jackson from first mesa.

Navajo (Tasap) is a Hopi Katsina who honors the Navajo people. The Tasap is a messenger to the gods and one of his tasks is to bring rain. Tasap appears during Angak'wa and the summer Katsina day dances. Since they depict the Navajo, their songs may have some Navajo words speaking of the good things of life and/or words representing moisture.
