Vintage Soviet Mechanical Watch POBEDA TTK-1.
Hand Painted Dial
OIL Painting
Watches marked TTK-1 were produced for a very short period. Therefore, they are considered extremely rare among collectors.
The factory's site originated in 1721 as the Peterhof Lapidary Works, founded by Emperor Peter the Great. Craftspeople there spent centuries carving semi-precious stones for imperial palaces, the Hermitage, and the Kremlin.
In 1930, it was renamed TTK-1 and tasked with manufacturing precision industrial stones.
it was the Soviet Union's first specialized factory producing synthetic ruby jewels and precision stones for the watchmaking and precise instrument-making industries.
