I am offering a rare French trade advertising card, dating from 1931 showing a brace of French Dogue de Bordeaux Mastiffs.
 
Rare Nestle, Peter, Cailler, Kohler Dog Art Trade Card 

This series, entitled "Chiens De Garde," was distributed in Nestle, Cailler and Kohler Chocolates in 1931 in Europe, specifically in France and Belgium.

Printed on paper, to be thin enough to fit between the outer wrapper and the silver foil protecting the chocolate and thus rather fragile compared to more conventional "cards".

SIZE: 1.5" x 2.25" (4cm x 5.75") +/-
