I am offering a rare French trade advertising card, dating from 1931 showing an (English) Mastiff.
 
Rare Nestle, Peter, Cailler, Kohler Dog Art Trade Card 
This series, entitled "Chiens De Garde," was distributed in Nestle, Cailler and Kohler Chocolates in 1931 in Europe, specifically in France and Belgium.
Printed on paper, to be thin enough to fit between the outer wrapper and the silver foil protecting the chocolate and thus rather fragile compared to more conventional "cards".

SIZE: 1.5" x 2.25" (4cm x 5.75") +/-

Printed on the front side only, NOTE - this has been cutout from an album and is mounted of the original green card page.  On the reverse size in a another card showing a rabbit.

CONDITION - Excellent
