Here are some tips for making handmade soap last longer:
Keep it dry
Soap disintegrates quickly when wet, so keep it out of the water stream in the shower and allow it to dry completely between uses. You can use a soap dish with holes or ridges to help air circulate and keep the soap dry.
Store it properly
Keep soap in its original packaging, away from moisture, direct sunlight, and in a place with low humidity.
Use it sparingly
Cut the soap in half and only use one piece at a time, or use a loofah or washcloth instead of using it directly on your skin.
