Antique Crochet Yarn Holder Bracelet in Orig. Box English * 1912 Patent This
adjustable brass bracelet has a clip-on
attachment that was used to hold a
ball of yarn or thread
for knitting or crochet. The rounded tab at the bottom of the post kept
the yarn ball in place. The bottom of this disc is marked "The Wristlet
Crochet Ball Holder". It also has the 1912 English Patent and
design registration numbers. The post
hooks to the bracelet with a jewelry style spring clasp and is removed
so the ball of yarn can slide on and off. The
condition is excellent with no loss
or damage. It is
6 3/4" long from top to bottom. It is in the original box and has the
original instructions (which are quite cute). There are also some
crocheted lace instructions in the box. The box measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" and is also in great condition.
