HI! PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY! (It will take you less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.) First things first. NO DISCOUNT. Ever. I do not offer discounts on any of my Buy It Now listings for the past 25 years. ALL MY PRICES ARE FAIR. Because they have to be. This is NOT my hobby. THIS IS HOW I TRY TO EARN A LIVING FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS, INCLUDING THE LAST 25 YEARS ON EBAY. That means I have to sell my items in a timely manner. Otherwise, my wife will say something like this: "Hey, Jerry, when are you going to make a deposit at the bank?" Fortunately that has not happened often in the past 29 years. This is a Buy It Now listing for a factory sealed set of 1987 Classic Green Baseball. I have this listed currently on eBay with the factory sealed board  game for $168. I have sold it about a dozen times the last four years. If you want to save $40 and about $30 in shipping, buy this factory sealed set WITHOUT the board game. This set of 100 cards--see photos--is super rare, ESPECIALLY IN THE FACTORY SEALED FORM. This is 39 years old. Originally designed as a baseball trivia game, over the years Classic has become a recognized collectible. THIS IS THE FIRST SET THE COMPANY EVER MADE. As a contrarian in most aspects of life--I don't even own a smart phone nor have I ever texted in my life--in 1989 I bought a lot of Classic. And I mean a lot. Dealers made fun of me. Friends made fun of me. Even my wife made fun of me. (She does that a lot!) I believe I own more of this set than anyone on this planet. And I own less than 60 sets! I even have four sealed cases--10 sets to a case. Those I am leaving to my four children. There are only 100 cards in the set. The cards have a green border, hence the name. (I own Classic Yellow sets and cases, Classic Orange sets and cases (see my other listings), and more Classic colors! In Classic Green, the design is simple--and beautiful. (I know that because I also have more than 380 Classic singles from this set.) The most desirable card is the Bo Jackson card. He is wearing his Auburn football jersey and swinging a baseball bat so close to the camera that you almost wince that the bat is going to hit you. Well, not really. I have seen that card ungraded sell for MORE than $100 alone. Get a high grade on the Bo, and you are sitting quite pretty. (If you happen to have a PSA 10 or BGS 10 of the Bo Jackson card from this set, I will pay $400.) In addition, the 100 card set includes  about 20 Hall of Famers--and that doesn't count Barry Bonds, Pete Rose or Roger Clemens. You get greats like Gary Carter, Rickey Henderson, Dave Winfield, Barry Larkin, Reggie Jackson, Paul Molitor, Nolan Ryan, Eddie Murray, Ryne Sandberg, Tony Gwynn, Robin Yount, Jim Rice, Kirby Puckett, Wade Boggs, Mike Schmidt, Jack Morris, Goose Gossage, Don Mattingly--alright, you get the picture. When I did some sports card shows 35 years ago, I used to sell only six cards from the set for a total of $150, which is almost as much as I am selling this whole, factory sealed set. For real. The price is $128.00. Not a penny more. Not a penny less.  The rules: 1) No discount. Not even for Marisa Tomei. You either want it or you don't. If you want it, the price is $128.00. If you don't want it, you would be overpaying by $128.00.  2) Please add $10.80 for insured shipping if you live in the continental U.S. I also ship worldwide through eBay's International Shipping Program. Ebay charges a fee for this service, so check eBay for details. I have shipped to 31 countries and all 50 states in the U.S. 3) Payment is due within four days of purchase. 4) Paypal preferred, but other forms of payment are fine, too. 5) I am proud of my feedback on eBay, encompassing more than 8,400 separate transactions over the past 25 years. If you have a couple more minutes, please check my other listings. I specialize in rare but affordable collectibles and memorabilia with major focus on five things: sports cards, framed and unframed photos, Beanie Babies, Marilyn Monroe items (somebody has to do it!), and Pokemon cards and plush. 6) The most important rule of all--DON'T FORGET RULE NUMBER ONE! Thanks for reading this far. And if you have a question, keep it to yourself. (Just kidding!) Stay safe. Jerry  P.S. I have included a photo of the sealed board game just to show you where the 100 card set comes from.Board game NOT included. Just five sets without the board game left to sell.
