Vintage Amber Glass Signal Lens Yellow Cobweb 9-1/8" Railroad USSR 950g HEAVY

This item is a vintage red glass signal lens used in a railroad mainline signal system during the Soviet era in 1980's.

Made from durable, heavy-duty amber glass, specifically designed for high-visibility signaling.

Features a distinct round shape with a textured internal pattern sometimes called "cobweb" or "cats eye" designed to effectively refract and focus light for long-distance visibility.

Weight: 950 grams - this is a solid, heavy-cast version of the lens.

Dimensions: The lens measures approximately 23.2 cm or 9 1/8 inches in diameter.

Authentic vintage condition. As a piece of industrial equipment, it may have minor manufacturing air bubbles and small chips on the mounting rim (which are hidden when the lens is installed in a signal housing).
