LVT-4 Water Buffalo — Amphibious Assault Vehicle | WWII Pacific Theater
3D Printed Wargame Miniature — Licensed from Wargame3D

The last thing many Japanese defenders saw was a wall of Water Buffalos coming out of the surf.

The LVT-4 was the backbone of every major amphibious assault in the Pacific — Tarawa, Saipan, Leyte Gulf, Iwo Jima, Okinawa. Unlike earlier LVT variants, the LVT-4 featured a rear loading ramp that allowed troops and equipment to dismount under fire without climbing over the sides. Armed with up to three .50 caliber M2 heavy machine guns, it could deliver a full squad of Marines directly onto the beach while laying down suppressing fire the entire way in.

This highly detailed resin miniature captures the LVT-4 in full assault configuration — rear ramp down, three .50 cal mounts positioned and ready, open troop compartment, and the distinctive boat-hull profile that made it equally at home in the surf or on land.

What You'll Notice:
- Rear loading ramp in the lowered/open position
- Three .50 caliber M2 heavy machine gun mounts
- Open troop bay with full interior wall detail
- Distinctive boat hull with angled bow
- Full track, road wheel, and suspension detail
- Hatches, vision ports, and hull fittings fully sculpted

Perfect for Bolt Action Pacific Theater scenarios, island-hopping campaign dioramas, or any collector building out a USMC assault force.
