This is a GRECO VB-500 Sunburst, a Japanese-made copy model of the Karl Höfner violin bass, famously used by Paul McCartney.

Manufactured in Japan in 1980, this bass features a slim neck for easy playability, making it a great choice for beginners and female players alike.

It produces a distinctive, boomy, and unique sound, making it ideal for rock and roll, oldies, jazz, and more.

It offers a pleasant, resonant acoustic sound with just the right amount of body resonance.
