Here is a small American Bank Note Company steel engraving die proof of a Civil War Union Infantry camp site.    I was told these were 'test prints' for possible future use on currency, bonds, or other documents during and after the Civil War.   I have some others listed.   They came from the same place and they are all mounted on the same paper with the numbers above.    I have no idea how many of these were made.   They are all very detailed!   Please see pics for more details.
