A very fine vintage Japanese 4 piece .950 sterling silver 4-piece coffee and tea set, which has never been used.
The set comes with a coffee pot, teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl with lid. Made by Toshikazu Miata in .950 silver (higher silver content than sterling) around 1950. The set is in excellent condition with no monograms, never used. Each piece is engraved: "STERLING 950" with a Crown Hallmark and "MIYATA" (see last photo). Upon close examination I could only find one very small scratch on the exterior of the coffee or teapot, too subtle to appear in the photographs.
The set features a gorgeous open rose and foliate trim with a budding rose on the lids.
