Design

This drafting mechanical pencil features a slim body for a smooth writing experience and a 4mm long-sleeve design that provides a wide field of view while writing. It is designed with a lower center of gravity than the 925 15, and the balance has been adjusted to ensure a lightweight feel even with the metal grip.

Design Philosophy

While metal knurled grips are known for being slip-resistant and easy to hold, we have also heard concerns about discomfort and chafing. For the new 925 15 Metal, we have developed a smooth metal knurled grip that successfully balances slip resistance with a gentle feel against the skin.

Integrated Tip and Grip

For the first time in a Staedtler mechanical pencil, we’ve incorporated a metal grip that integrates the tip and grip into a single unit. This design delivers a more stable writing experience, even during extended writing sessions or when carrying the pencil. Replacement parts are also available to ensure long-term use.
