This is a charming antique clear glass Atlas Wholefruit canning jar, complete with a glass lid. The jar is embossed prominently with "ATLAS WHOLEFRUIT JAR" on its front, indicating its original purpose for preserving fruits. The design features a wide mouth, typical of early canning jars, and includes the characteristic indentations for a wire bail closure (wire bail is not present).
