Sterling Silver Celtic Tree Spirit Green Man Pagan God Amulet Pendant

2.5cm (1") x 2.2cm (7/8") excluding bale

A new Sterling silver Celtic Tree Spirit Green Man amulet pendant necklace - a classic representation of the woodland God.

This pendant would be particularly suitable for a man, representing the potent woodland God of the Witches in a delightfully benevolent aspect, but could also be worn by a woman who either relates strongly to the animus aspect of her being, or who wishes to contact this aspect more strongly.

This is a lovely item, made from solid Silver. The Amulet is beautifully and intricately made and finished, and is supplied fully charged for the benefit of its new owner.  The pendant comes with a free, high-quality fine Silver-plated Snake chain, in a protective silk bag.

The significance of the Green Man comes to us through the mists of pre-history. He is the male force in Nature, ever-renewing, potent, full of power. He is Cernunnos of the Celts, Pan of the Woodlands, Robin Goodfellow, and many other personified energies. His power is ageless, bountiful and eternal.

The Greenman is said to embody the life force of rebirth; that after the Death of Winter, Spring must return and bring with it the Sun, and Growth, and Plenty.

Silver is sacred to the Moon It is believed to carry the qualities of Invocation, Love, Psychism,

Peace, Protection & Dreams. It is also used for charms to attract money. Because Silver is found in its pure form, it was one of the first metals to be used by humans. Its beauty and scarcity have caused it to be fashioned into divine images and offering pieces for many centuries.
