Here is a late 19th century (1870-1900) stamped brass pictorial button called "The Trumpeter of Sackingen."  It has a black lacquered tin back with a wire shank. The button measures just under 1-1/16" in diameter: NBS size medium. It is in excellent condition. A very collectible antique button with charming subject matter!
