This is a beautiful carousel music box that plays the Carousel Waltz with three rotating horses on brass poles. Made of cold-cast porcelain, the carousel has very intricate detailing from the horses manes to the flowers, leaves, swags and bows all around. The base is pink and has a wooden texture on the "floor" of the carousel to resemble wood. To wind, turn the roof of the carousel counter-clockwise. The sound comes out of the small holes in the underside of the roof of the carousel as seen in the photo. The music box has a really lovely sound.
Condition: In excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, previous repairs or scratching of paint. There is a small spot of possibly dirt on one of the yellow panels in the top (see last photo). Plays very smoothly, and plays steadily for about a minute and a half before stopping. From a smoke-free home.
Dimensions: Approximately 10" tall. The base is about 5" in diameter and each horse is about 3.5" long.
