Here is a very beautiful19th century celluloid background button. Starburst/Comet design is embellished with a single, claw-set, paste jewel.  Molded self shank. The button measures just over 1-1/4" in diameter: NBS size large. Excellent condition. This is an elegant, quality button with a lot to offer a collector.
