Here is a stunning Golden Age gilt brass button. The finish looks like the button was made yesterday, but it was made by R.& W. Robinson/ Extra rich, from 1836-1847. It has a two piece construction and a sturdy omega shank. The button measures 15/16" in diameter: NBS size medium. It is in pristine condition. If you have been meaning to add an authentic Golden Age gilt button to your collection, you won't find a better example anywhere!
