Here is an antique utilitarian china calico button.  I am not an expert on this type of buttons, but I believe it is pattern #42; please send me a message if that isn't right.  It is green on white. The button measures 5/8" in diameter: NBS size small. It is in excellent condition!  A very charming and collectible antique button!
