Antique Or Vintage Eggshell White Gown Dress Nylon Lace MUST SEE READ READ

Sadly, I do not have any information or history on this dress. I got it an estate sale from a lady who had quite a bit of vintage clothing, mostly from the 70s, so this period piece has me a tad baffled. I am hoping someone who knows this era of clothing will find it and make a great new home for it.

Overall, it’s in good shape. There ARE some tiny holes on the Bottom tier of the top skirt, and there is a significant vertical tear up the seam of the skirt lining. One of the ties (it ties in back) is held on with a safety pin, and you can see that the other tie has had some stress out on it. I found one repaired seam on the shoulder. The top fabric is thin and completely sheer. The bodice and skirt have a lining. There are 5 buttons up the left side of the bodice, hidden under a button casing. The fabrics do not seem to be frail or brittle. There is a slight “v” drop waist in the front. This is such a sweet dress. Color is a cream-ish eggshell white.
