Fermentation Process
1.Use fresh, raw garlic or garbanzos, no peeling, no washing.
2.Trim off the excess stalks and place them flat on the mesh shelf, shaking them to get a more even placement of the garlic.
3.Press and hold the cancel button for 3 seconds first to enter the program settings. Then it can be set to start directly.
4.After 7-12 days of fermentation, it can be opened and served, if there is much moisture, it can be dried again.

Please note that washing with water or adding a small amount of detergent will remove odors. If anything sticks to the garlic cage or inner pot, soak in hot water for 10 minutes. 3.Please do not open the lid for a long time or frequently during the fermentation process as this may affect the fermentation results. When drying, the lid does not need to be pressed to the bottom without fastening to leave a gap, and the drying effect is better.
4.After the machine works, it will cycle switch to display the remaining fermentation days, the remaining fermentation hours, time, and working temperature.
5.After the fermentation is completed, the machine will automatically turn off the heating and beep to indicate completion. (If the fermentation is completed without disconnecting the power supply within 8 hours, the machine will beep prompted to turn off the power supply, once an hour).
6.You can take out the black garlic after the fermentation is completed to eat, at this time the machine will have residual heat, please be careful when opening the lid burns. After fermentation, black garlic can be stored in canning jars or food containers(not included) for 5-10 days for better flavor. Black garlic has a shelf life of about 3 months when sealed and 6 months when refrigerated and sealed.
