"Aklama" fetish couple - Adan - Ghana

Total height on base of 22 and 21.5 cms.
Dimensions of fetishes 20.5 and 20 cms high.
Materials: Wood, natural pigments.
Presumed seniority: More than 40 years.

These fetishes "aklama" are ritual objects of the voodoo worship used by the ADANGBE / ADA language of the Ghana, on the edge of Togo. The patina has a different shade and appearance between the top and the bottom. 
The parts are fixed on the wooden base visible in the photos.

These statuettes represent the various deities linked to hunting, which are also common to the Yoruba and Ewe.
