Offered here is a large and beautifully presented vintage English sporting print featuring a classic fox hunting / equestrian scene with mounted rider in traditional red coat, set within a countryside landscape. After the original work by W. & H. Barraud and engraved by Edward Hacker, this piece captures the timeless character of English country sport and traditional estate living.

This is a later reproduction of a 19th century original, professionally framed and matted, likely dating to the 1980s based on the Deck the Walls (White Marsh Mall) framing label. The overall presentation strongly reflects the Ralph Lauren aesthetic, blending English countryside, equestrian lifestyle, and classic study / library decor.

The frame is a solid wood bamboo-style design with brass corner accents, offering a refined and traditional look often associated with high-end decorator interiors. This is a large, stately, and substantial wall piece with strong visual presence.

Overall, in very nice condition for age and display. The frame shows light, typical surface wear consistent with handling over time. A few minor scratches have been carefully color-matched to blend with the existing finish, resulting in a clean and cohesive appearance.

The matting shows a slight ripple along the lower edge, most noticeable toward the left with a small area extending to the lower right. This is consistent with age and long-term framing and is only visible under certain lighting or angles. It does not detract from the overall display and the piece presents beautifully.

Backing paper shows some wear consistent with age and professional framing. The print itself remains clean and displays very well behind glass.

This piece has been lightly cleaned/wiped down but no restoration has been performed. It has been stored for multiple years and may show minor age-related wear.
