This Auction is for a USED Lucas 25083J Starter as found on the many British Sports Cars and vehicles of the 1950s and 1960s.  There are Nine Teeth on the sprocket.

Please do your homework to insure that it will fit on your car. 

On a battery charger it does run quite nicely.  I think on a battery it would be quite strong. 

If you have a need for it, I am confident that this one can be bought and have a “light overhaul” for significantly less than you can buy a new one. 

It is excess to my needs.  It is still better to recycle it than let it sit on the shelf gathering dust any longer.
