Vintage square cake plate by Mason's of England, in the Watteau brown pattern. Watteau brown features a brown transfer ware type pattern of people and landscapes, on a scalloped cream colored body. It is a discontinued pattern.

The cake plate does not have any chips or nicks. It does have overall crazing in the clear glaze. It measures 9 1/2" diameter and 11 1/8" long with the handles.
