Antique/ Vintage White Metal dance purse or coin purse with chain

Attractive plain finish, with dark blue lining.

Size is approx 2 inches (5cm) by 1.5 inches (4cm)

A bit of a mystery object to me - I could not find any hallmark nor decoration to identify the maker, material or country of origin.  if you know any more about it I would be pleased to hear from you.

Good condition, just one small hole in the lining material.
