Pentax LX 35mm SLR for parts or repair. Comes with the motor winder, aftermarket grip, factory strap, body cap and manual. The meter works and appears to be accurate. However in the manual shutter speed setting the shutter frequently locks up half way through its cycle at 1/15 sec and slower. If you fiddle with the battery cover it finishes its cycle. It seems to work fine at the faster speeds but that may just be coincidence. I have not been able to replicate the issue in the Auto shutter speed setting. The slow speeds, 1/15sec and slower, are slower that they should be. The battery chamber and contacts are clean so there may be an issue with the wiring to the contacts. The winder is clean and works correctly. The focusing screen is stained, maybe cleaned with alcohol at some point? No matter, that is an easy replacement.

The body shows evidence of the leatherette being re-glued and there are traces of glue on the top cover below the name plate. The body has minor brassing in spots. The is a DL number scratched into the bottom plate. The frame counter works. The shutter curtains look good. It does not have the caps to cover up the motordrive ports on the bottom of the body
