·        Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned Happy Traveling Buddha Pewter with Gold Accent.  This figurine represents the Laughing Buddha, also known as Budai or Pu-Tai in Chinese tradition. He is a semi-historical figure based on an eccentric monk and is celebrated as a symbol of happiness, abundance, and contentment. Key Symbols in this Figurine:  The Sack (Pu-Tai): The large bag over his shoulder represents the problems and worries he collects from people to replace them with joy. It is also seen as a "sack of fortune" containing wealth and sweets for children.  The Large Belly: Symbolizes his limitless capacity to tolerate others and his inner wealth and prosperity.  The Gourd (Wu Lou): The small vessel at his waist is a traditional symbol of longevity and good health.

·        Feng Shui Tips.  To attract the most positive energy, practitioners often suggest: Place him facing the main entrance of your home or office to "collect" and transform incoming energy into good fortune.  Keeping him in the southeast corner is believed to specifically enhance financial wealth.
