A FINE EARLY 19TH CENTURY CHILD'S BENT ARM ROD BACK WINDSOR POTTY CHAIR IN ORIGINAL OLD GRUNGY STAIN AND VARNISH WITH THE GRUNGIEST PATINA.
NEW ENGLAND, CIRCA 1830-1840.
A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE IN GREAT OLD ORIGINAL SURFACE WITH ITS ORIGINAL ADDED GOLD HIGHLIGHTS.
IT IS GRUNGY WITH NICE OLD PATINA.
THIS IS QUITE AN UNUSUAL FORM FOR A CHILD'S CHAIR.
THIS WAS ALWAYS MADE AS A POTTY CHAIR.
IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH THE ONLY LOSS BEING A VERY SMALL SPLIT (SURFACE NOT A CRACK) ON ONE ARM AND A COUPLE OF SCREW HOLES ON THE ARMS FROM A LATER BRACE THAT WAS REMOVED.
SEAT HEIGHT IS 9 1/2" AND THE CHAIR ITSELF IS 25" TALL.
