Lovely set of 5 Vintage 1980' plates in fine bone china  by Royal Doulton and inspired by one of the world's most loved books of Kenneth Grahame. The plates feature the original works by Christina Thwaites in 1984.

'Ratty and Mole go Boating'

'Badger's House'

'Rambling in the Wild Wood'

'The Open Road'.

The artwork is soft and detailed, with pastel colouring and a glazed finish. The edges of the plates are scaloped. Each plate is 8.25" in diameter and  signed by Christina Thwaites.

plates are in excellent condition with no scratches, chips, marks or repairs.
