Andrews EV27 Camshaft – Evolution Big Twin
- Bolt-in street cam with fast open and close ramps
- Similar timing to EV3, but designed to produce a very broad torque band
- Pulls from 1500 to 6000 RPM
- Capable of 6000+ RPM with stock springs and no valve float
- Uses stock springs; works with carburetors or fuel injection
- Excellent cam for full dress touring bikes

Notes
- Measurement of cam and pinion gears is especially critical for 1990 and later models to verify proper fit.
- Must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance.
- Late 1984 – Early 1986 Evolution engines require pistons to be notched to obtain the necessary valve-to-piston clearance.
