As dug is an antique Grimwades "Quick Cooker" pudding bowl from the early 20th century, likely dating around 1911.
Design: Made of ironstone or earthenware pottery, it features a central chimney intended to conduct heat to the center of the pudding for faster cooking.
Function: It was designed to steam puddings or stews on top of a stove in a pan of boiling water.
Features: The exterior is printed with instructions in green transferware, noting it is "Excellent for stews of all kinds" and can keep meat hot for hours without overcooking.
Condition is as dug with age related/burial wear to surface has 2 cracks as seen in pictures.
