This aftermarket replacement mulching blade is designed for 21-inch cutting decks on walk-behind push and self-propelled mowers from MTD and its family of brands, including Troy-Bilt, Fits Cub Cadet, Fits Craftsman, Bolens, Murray, Huskee, and Yard-Man. It features the distinctive bow-tie center hole pattern required by these mower spindle hubs. The blade is engineered to finely recut grass clippings for mulching, returning nutrients back to the lawn. Replaces OEM part numbers 942-0741A and 742-0741A, and cross-references with numerous Fits Stens, Oregon, and other aftermarket part numbers. Important: Verify your spindle hub uses the bow-tie center hole before ordering - center hole style may vary by production date, but sizing and mounting remain compatible.
