Offered for sale is an authentic antique Japanese bronze vase dating to the Meiji to early Taishō period (circa 1890–1920).

This finely cast vase features a dark patinated bronze ground richly decorated with high-relief floral and bird motifs, including chrysanthemums and flying birds, executed using traditional mixed-metal inlay techniques with copper and contrasting alloys. The sculptural relief and subtle metal color variations are hallmarks of Japan’s celebrated Meiji metalwork tradition.

The vase has a gracefully balustered form with flared rim, lathe-turned body, and a vented base, consistent with period casting methods. The surface retains an attractive aged patina, highly prized by collectors.
